Ahoy! While piracy was a predominantly male occupation, some pirates were women. There were two known wench pirates partied to Da Flyin’ Gang, Anne Bonny and Mary Read. This inspired us to research further and in doing this, we found that there were a lot more female pirates around the world as well as a few hardly mentioned in History. This is where the inspiration came from for our labels theme.
