About US
Khagi Winery & Blenders is a truly unique place. One of the few boutique wineries and micro-blenders in the Bahamas. Our desire is to provide only extraordinary hand-crafted, low yield, small batch minimal intervention wines, blended spirits, RTDS and gourmet treats that express the character and speak to the Pirates’ history of the Bahamas.
We focus on sustainable farming practices. Our small vineyard and farm are surrounded by open space and pine forest to foster biodiversity and sustain the overall health of the farm.
A single vineyard situated in the Bahamas with climate and soils ideally suited to the temperament of our wine grapes varietals that we focus on. We feel this is what coaxes out the concentrated and complex aromatic qualities of our grapes.
The Winery
We believe wine is made in the vineyard and strive to let the fruit be expressed in each bottle.
Our winemaking philosophy is driven by the premise that we enjoy drinking interesting wines rather than tasting special wines. We make our wines to be enjoyed with food, conversation and contemplation. We make our wines with just the right complexity, textural and elegance. Wines that show good fruit/acid balance and genuine flavour length.
